Haunted House # 1

I don't know if spirits are attracted to me, or if I am just sensitive to them. Over the years I've had a number of experiences in homes I have lived in. The first was when I was in my teens we lived in an old farm house near Santa Claus, IN. It sat on about 10 acres and had been built up around an old log cabin that was about 10 X 30. By the time we lived there, it was a 5 bedroom 3 bath home with hardwood floors throughout the house. At night when everyone was in bed, I could here someone walking up the stairs to the second floor, then down the hall and up the stairs to the attic, "Which was floored as well" and walk around up there. Whenever we would check no one would be there. In that same house there was one particular room that we never used, and no one ever went into. It was because everyone that went in that room said it made them feel very uncomfortable. The only thing known about the home was at one time the property had been a working farm and it was owned by an old veterinarian.

Sister

 Sister

When my sister and her husband moved into there house in Florida every thing was fine at first but after a while strange things started happening things would move from were thay would always be kept, they would leave only to come home and find cabnets open and things rearranged. Doors open and close by them selvs. And when you're in the bathroom you can here whispering.

She later found out that the previous owner and his wife were in the habit of fighting all the time. One day he had come home.

And she was waiting to confront him and she was armed with a broom handle that she had sharpened to a point when he entered the house she asked him for money when she did they got into a fight, during the fight

she attacked him with the broom handle he deflected the attack and pushed her back when he did she fell back hit her head on the counter and died.

At this point the husband freaked out and didn't know what to do. So instead of calling the police he decided to put her body in a 55 gallon drum that he had and buried her in the back yard under the water heater.

The only reason the husband was found out and his wife was found is because about six months later he was was at a local bar drunk when he struck up a conversation with another person he was drinking with and said ya know I killed my wife about 6 months ago and buried her in the back yard under the water heater. The conversation was over heard by someone at the next table

"who happened to be the country sheriff"

The police then got a warrant and excavated the back yard found his wife's body. And the husband was arrested and convicted and served 8 months for involuntary manslaughter for her death. To this day my sister and her husband still live in the same house. And still have things open and close and move on there own,  And the whispering in the bathroom so happens the hot water heater in the backyard is right next to the bathroom.

And the creepyst part of this whole story is the story of this was told to her buy by the next door neighbor. Who is the previous owner of her home." The husband who killed his wife"

And he still lives next door with wife number 6.

Oujia Board

I know this is stupid, but when I was around 18 some of my friends and I played with a Oujia board. After that is when most of the activity started to happen. In the middle of us playing with it I would make jokes against the ghosts or spirts. I guess one got mad and we heard something hit the window. I went outside and no one was around. I went back in and asked if it was the spirt. The board replied "Yes. h-a-h-a-h-a-h-a". We played with it a few different times. At my own house small things would happen. Most of the time I would hear my bathroom tap shut off and on through the night.

After that, when my boyfriend and I moved in together, 4 doors down from my dads apartment where I had lived before. More things started happening in the new apartment. The water continued, and once we woke up to something scratching our wooden closet door. It wasn't a mouse or something, it wasn't down by the floor. It was towards the top of the door. Another time I was alone in the apartment, doing laundry, and the cabinets in the kitchen started opening and slamming shut. I knew I was alone.

When we moved into a house on the west side, things kind of picked up. We would have loose change on our dresser, in the middle of the night we could hear the change move. It would start to slide off the dresser and starting to fly across the room, landing on us. If it was going to slide off it would of been the opposite way, if that makes sense. No way it would pick up enough momentum to fly and hit us in our sleep.

We always have a fan in our bedroom and livingroom. There's times where we clearly stop feeling the wind and it feels like someone is standing in front of it.

Other things is I wake up to are: 3 small random scratches on me, my son following random things around the house with his eyes, and sometimes goes up to thin air. He hold his hands up like he's trying to be held. Ive seen some figures, and my dog will randomly growl in the dark

He definitely does when we think someone's infront of the fan. Sometimes my phone acts weird like someone is tapping random things on my screen. It's happened to every smart phone since the experience with a Ouji board when was 18.
