Willard library recent activity
Willard Library in Evansville Indiana has been the sight of ghost activity for nearly a century. In the 1930's a night shift maintenance man reported coming face to face with the ghost of a woman. She was wearing Victorian Era clothing and a Grey shal who vanished right before his eyes. Since then there have been dozens of reports of encounters. Ranging from physical sightings to cold spots. The smell of perfume. Locked doors. Water faucets turned on.
In today's digital age the ghosts activity has become easier spot. With servalence cameras throughout the building for security purposes. And a network of cameras located around the different areas of the library that the public can watch 24/7
New reports are always coming in. One evening In early April of 2025. The building had been lock and the alarm set when the staff had left for the evening.
"Note the alarm can not be set unless all the doors are properly shut and locked"
Later that evening the director was in route back to the library to work on some paper work when he received a call from the alarm company informing him the alarm had been set off by an exterior door being opened. The director arrived moments later and proceeded to investigate he found that the door that had triggered the alarm was closed "and locked" there is a camera pointed at the door a quick review of the footage clearly showed the door opening then closing. Check out the ghost cams. Maybe you can be lucky enough to see some activity yourself.
